Joining the Staff

The Emergency Committee of Free Orlando welcomes all like-minded individuals to our cause – FREE ORLANDO!

Please be aware that  the Emergency Committee of Free Orlando may have been designated a “subversive organization”.  (The status of subversive organizations is not publicly disclosed.)

Penalties for joining and/or associating with subversive organizations vary depending upon your jurisdiction.  As such, you may wish to take precautions to protect your identity prior to contacting us.  The Emergency Committee is committed to Free Orlando and must hold this goal as paramount!    Sacrifices will and must be made.  In the event of your questioning or capture, the Emergency Committee must, first and foremost, protect itself.  Do not expect rescue or succor.  Do hold on to the hope that one day, Orlando will be FREE!

With that said – WELCOME ABOARD!  We’re glad to have ya and look forward to tasking you to toil in obscurity, work beyond endurance and to do so for absolutely no compensation.  In other words – welcome to working on a Worldcon Bid!

Orlando in 2015 is looking for all manner of fen, with all different kinds of experience, to assist us in our bid to bring Worldcon to the Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World in 2015.

We are particularly looking for regional representatives who can assist with appearances and promotions at conventions and events across the US and around the world.
